Central Quang Ngai Province People's Committee yesterday agreed to a five-fold expansion of Dung Quat Economic Zone to 50,000 hectares.
The expansion plan, which requires government approval, was drawn up because all the land in the current zone has been occupied but investment demand remains high. The proposed expanded area is estimated to attract some US$30 billion by 2025.
